Creature Family — Chiktrilli

Chiktrilli are highly intelligent creatures that resemble beetles with an unnervingly humanoid-like eye taking up a large portion of their faces. They thirst for magical knowledge and find few things more enjoyable that coming to grips with a new spell. Generally pleasant if you give them a chance to communicate, they are often described as “polite, yet pushy” when in the presence of spellcasters who they have seen exhibit magic they do not know. Chiktrilli are, often unfairly, considered pests. While some can be annoying, few become so jaded in their youths that they actively try to cause problems for those they could learn from or live near.
